On December 2, the fifth WASWAC Assembly was held in a combined online and offline way. The  offline venue is in the International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES).

A number of affairs have been discussed in the assembly, participants  offered advices and suggestions actively to promote the development of the association.

The new term Council for the period of 2023-2025 was also elected. 

The session change should be completed in 2022, affected by the COVID-19, it has to be postponed to 2023.
