The International Soil and Water Conservation Research (ISWCR) Journal Editorial Board Directors’ Administration Meeting was held in Beijing on 19 March, 2013. At the meeting the administrative issues of Journal were discussed and adopted, some of them are following.
1. The Mission of ISWCR
As the journal of World Association of Soil and Water Conservation (WASWAC), the International Soil and Water Conservation Research (ISWCR) is sponsored and published by International Research and Training Center on Erosion and Sedimentation (IRTCES) and China Water & Power Press (CWPP). The mission of ISWCR is to build an international academic communication platform comprehensively reflecting frontiers and trends timely, reporting research achievements of scientific theories, innovation technologies and applications, and promoting development and prosperity actively of soil and water conservation in the world.
2. The Edition Format Design of ISWCR
The Edition of ISWCR will be designed with A4 size and total 80 pages per issue, and 4 issues per year. The price is $40 each copy.
3. The Organization structure of Editorial board
The Editorial Board is consists of the Director, Deputy Directors, Chief Editor, Associate Chief Editors, and Board Members. Each term of office is 3 years and it is available for all members to be re-appointed continually. The first term of office is from January 1 of 2013 to December 31 of 2015.
The meeting adopted the nominated candidates of Editorial Board by WASWAC council. The nominated candidates were selected from the world. Prof. Li Rui officially received the certificate of Chief Editor for ISWCR from Prof. Liu Ning, the Vice Minister of Water Resources of P.R China.
